Rabbit In Red is a 4-piece alternative jam rock band formed in the midst of a global pandemic in 2020. Hailing from the small town of Effingham IL, Rabbit In Red brings a high energy mix of alternative rock, funk, and hip hop viewed through a tie-dyed jam band kaleidoscope. The result is a blistering rock sound full of deep grooves, catchy hooks, and soaring improvisation. After only a couple of years, Rabbit In Red is already turning heads with their bombastic live shows and infectious songwriting. With their debut album “1512” out now, 2023 looks to be the year Rabbit In Red become the newest buzz band

As lead vocalist and primary songwriter of Rabbit In Red, Nick Rueter's commanding tenor voice and howling guitar style set the stage for the band's sound. Bringing a grunge edge from his formative years in the Seattle area mixed with the mellow and introspective songwriting styles of Paul McCartney, James Mercer, and Jack Johnson, Nick is the foundation on which Rabbit In Red's sound is built and that foundation is rock solid.
Nick plays Sawtooth Guitars and uses ChromaCast Accsessories.
DREW ROBINSON

Multi-instrumentalist Drew Robinson brings an eclectic mix of jazz, blues, funk, and heavy psychedelia to Rabbit In Red. A Midwest transplant by way of Maryland, Robinson draws from a bevy of influences from heavy hitters like Stevie Ray Vaughn and Robbie Krieger to the smooth stylings of Curtis Mayfield and Phish. Drew's transcendental playing is the catalyst that pushes the Rabbit In Red live show to other realms.
JOSH KOESTER
Drums | Raps
The bringer of the groove; Josh’s playing is steeped in the breakbeats of hip hop, funk, and rock. Influenced by drummers like Jon Fishman, Questlove, and John Bonham as well as legendary producers like Dr. Dre, Just Blaze, and J Dilla, Josh’s infectious grooves steer Rabbit In Red through the jams as the driving force behind their live musical movements.

COREY NEIDIGH
Bass Guitar
Corey began as Rabbit in Red's second guitarist but a few twists and turns later... and he's bringing the funky basslines and goofy energy. Corey cut his teeth on metalcore and pop punk while touring with bands like IL rock favorites Mustache, before growing into rock, jambands, and folk/Americana. His funky low end and knack for filling out the music is why you don't just hear Rabbit in Red... you feel them.
